Storage environment and purchasing skills of ribbon ribbon

Strip Ribbon storage environment:
In order to ensure the best performance, please use, transport and store the ribbon according to the following environmental requirements
Operating environment: 5°C-35°C, 45%-85% relative humidity
Transportation environment: -5°C-45°C, 20%-85% relative humidity, no more than one month
Storage environment: -5°C-40°C, 20%-85% storage conditions, not more than one year
Note: Exposing the ribbon directly to sunlight and humidity will damage the ribbon.

Selection skills of strip ribbons:
1. Barcode carbon with pinholes (bubbles): caused by ink not evenly applied. It will cause unclear printing effect.
2. Wrinkled barcode ribbon: due to problems with the tension control system during slitting, no words will be printed on a small area of the barcode ribbon.
3. The barcode carbon ribbon is blank: due to the poor treatment of the optical film, there will be a small part of the blank.
4. The tolerance of the inner diameter of the paper core is too large or too small: the barcode ribbon cannot be loaded into the barcode printer or the reel cannot carry the barcode ribbon.
5. If the temperature is too high during printing, it will cause the barcode ribbon to stick together.
6. Whether the paper core has edge running: it will cause the tape to be broken, and the edge cannot be printed.
7. The barcode ribbon is not long enough.
8. The winding of the barcode ribbon is too tight or too loose during processing, so that the barcode ribbon cannot be synchronized with the printer when it is running.
9. It is shoddy, the wax base content is too high, and the resin content is too small, so that the advantages of the mixed base cannot be displayed.

Inner carbon and outer carbon:
Generally speaking, most barcode printers can support the inner carbon and outer carbon of the barcode ribbon, but not all barcode printers can use inner carbon and outer carbon. Therefore, you need to judge the internal carbon and external carbon by yourself when necessary.
The way to distinguish the inner carbon and outer carbon of the barcode carbon tape is to tear off a self-adhesive label, stick it to the carbon tape, and then check whether the adhesive is stuck on it by the carbon tape. If so, it means that this side is There is no carbon ribbon with carbon powder on the other side of the ribbon, and then look at the way the ribbon is rolled to know whether it is inner carbon or outer carbon.
